Recently I've had the chance to try out 3D printing with resin, using a $1500 Nobel 1.0a resin SLA 3D printer by XYZPrinting. Compared to the standard filament-based 3D printers, resin printers can achieve astounding detail. In this video I showcase a few of my favorite prints, and talk a little bit more about what makes printing with resin different from extruded plastic.
