In the style of my "Down" vid ("In that moment I thought I lost it all") comes "Secrets" -- a mash of clips and sound bytes from two movies that are strangely quite related. ;)

I've wanted to do a video to this song ever since I kept hearing it from my album of The Piano Guys (a YouTube-based group of guys who make the most awesome classical/pop/rock covers of current hits). But I never knew if I should do the original OneRepublic song or The Piano Guys' Beethoven-ized version. So in my flux I decided to do both, and so here it is. I'm no audio editor, so forgive the mess of sounds. XD I mainly wanted to include the wonderful cello tunes that you can still hear in the background to the main vocalist.
Also, both "Secrets" and the song at the end are from The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Anyway. I guess you can also call this a coming-back vid. I dedicated two whole days to it, and did neither Tumblr nor schoolwork, deadlines notwithstanding. I felt great. Or like this:

I don't know if any of you have seen The Sorcerer's Apprentice, but my sister and I borrowed it to see Jay Baruchel (Hiccup's voice actor). And how worth it it was!! He's Hiccup if there ever was one. You can feel Hiccup all over the movie, and I got so inspired that I was totally yanked from my RotG mode. XD I love Nicolas Cage's adventure films, or at least his National Treasure series. It's a fun movie, and I totally enjoyed it. I laughed out loud so much, and I don't do that often.
This scene really had me, too (dialogue here in case the music messes it up too much LOL):
Jay: This is really dangerous, I can't bring you with me.
Becky: ...Besides if you blow it we're gonna die anyway, right? I want to come with you.
Jay (fumbling for words): You're sexy.
The funny thing being how the last word was used. Jay's character is so simple, he just had to use the 'highest' praise of womanhood (in his mind) to praise her selflessness and desire to be with him. It's nice to see that used for character rather than physical traits. XD

So about the video. Like I said, it's another VO-mania, with a story to boot. All of the sound bytes are from The Sorcerer's Apprentice, with the exception of the following:
-"everything we know about you guys is wrong" (initial VO)
-"we're gonna take this nice and slow" (0:09)
-Astrid ambience (0:20)
-"did anybody see that?" (1:01)

There's some ridiculously identical VOs between HTTYD and Sorcerer's. XD I found out how to do beats of higher-contrast, which was great. I also had a credits thing at the end, which is new, and a sig which I drew on Photoshop before. You probably can't read it, haha.

Anyway, I had a ton of fun doing this one. I beat Premiere Pro's madness by rendering small portion of video often. Besides, my mood was much better, so I was able to tolerate it.
