Herald Control Death Knight is BACK! 🩸
Today we're bringing back the Herald Death Knight archetype from Hearthstone: Cataclysm and giving it a fresh new look with cards from the latest Escape From Violet Hold expansion!
This Control Death Knight deck is built around powerful Undead minions, board control, Corpses, and strong late-game value. Emergency Surgery gives us another powerful removal tool while also creating an Undead minion with Lifesteal, while Tower of Ghouls provides a constant stream of Frail Ghouls whenever it takes damage.
We're also using Blood Doctor Thal'ena to generate an additional Hero Power that costs Corpses, giving the deck even more ways to generate value and control the game.
The goal is to survive the early game, control the board, build up our Corpses, and eventually overwhelm the opponent with Death Knight's powerful Undead package and Escape From Violet Hold support.
