Suikoden STAR LEAP First Playthrough – Part 1!
After nearly two decades, we finally have a brand-new Suikoden game!
Suikoden STAR LEAP released in Japan on August 7, 2026, marking the return of the Suikoden series with a completely new game. For players in North America, the wait has been even longer — the last brand-new Suikoden game released in America was Suikoden Tierkreis in 2008.
While Suikoden I & II HD Remaster gave fans the chance to revisit two classic games, those were remasters of existing titles. STAR LEAP is a brand-new Suikoden adventure.
Since STAR LEAP has currently only released in Japan, I'm jumping into the Japanese version for my very first playthrough. I'm excited to finally experience a new Suikoden game after all these years!
In Part 1, we begin our journey through the world of Suikoden STAR LEAP, meet the characters, learn the game's systems, and see what this new entry in the legendary JRPG series has to offer.
This is a blind first playthrough, so I'll be experiencing the story, characters, battles, exploration, and surprises for the first time.
