The Joint Research Centre, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE), has set up the European Consumer Food Waste Forum in order to address consumer food waste. Researchers and practitioners work together to find solutions and develop tools to help reduce consumer food waste. The EC Knowledge Centre for Bioeconomy coordinates the dissemination of the Forum's activities.
