Anyone who may have loitered at my channel for too long probably noticed that I've uploaded a fair number of country song covers. This is one of my favorite Jim Reeves songs. I much prefer the country music of the 50's and 60's. The lyrics were more poetic and the melodies simple, but distinct and memorable. The voices back then were cooler too. Like Jim Reeves and Patsy Cline. Good stuff.
