One of the famous carnival songs from Köln/Cologne in the Rhineland, which is the region most famous for its carnival. This song was written in 1936 by Karl Berbuer (1900-1977), a famous artist from Cologne who would also write the equally famous "Trizonesien song" (youtube.com/watch?v=unExncdYD8I) about carnival in the German occupation zone after WW2 in 1948. Both of these songs proved popular well beyond traditional carnival regions and are still performed today.

Dear American viewers, dont be too frightened!
Ami, go home! or Yankee, go home! was a relatively popular slogan not only in occupied Germany, but all of American-influenced Europe shortly after WW2. It was directed against American soldiers who continued to have a presence in the ravaged Europe after the war. As you can probably imagine, the Soviet Union and its satellite states of the Eastern block gladly reciprocated that slogan, as they didnt really have to fear a similar movement against them in Eastern Europe. This song here is sung by Ernst Busch (1900-1980), one of the most famous German socialist/communist artists. He was as a singer, actor (for example in the famous Dreigroschenoper/Threepenny Opera of Bertolt Brecht), and movie director. He was supposed to be arrested by the Nazis in 1933 because of his political attitude, but he fled and eventually worked with the Soviets in Moscow. However, he was eventually caught be the German regime and interned before being freed by the Red Army in 1945. He then lived and worked in East Germany, and this is why you can imagine he didnt sing this song for himself only, as the GDR propaganda wanted the slogan (and the according notion) to be as present as possible in West (and East) Germany, and the song proved to be successful. It was also used in movies.
The composer was Hanns Eisler, another famous fellow of Bertolt Brecht with a pro-socialist attitude. You might have realized that this melody follows the example of Tramp! Tramp! Tramp!, a famous American song from the civil war.

The Sarabande by Georg Friedrich Händel is a baroque piece of music. It is the third of four dances from his fourth Suite in D minor, Handel-Werke-Verzeichnis (HWV) 437, which probably dates from about 1705/07 during his time in Hamburg. In printed form, it was published in 1733 in London by the music publisher John Walsh. The sarabande is composed for a solo harpsichord. The piece is well known and often played. There are arrangements for orchestra and various individual instruments. An orchestral version was used by Stanley Kubrick for his film Barry Lyndon from the year 1975. The Panzerlied is one of the best known Wehrmacht songs. It was composed on the 28th of June 1935 by Oberleutnant Kurt Wiehle while on his way to Königsbrück. Wiehle adapted a German sailors song called Luiska-Lied (Wohl über den Klippen) writing lyrics more appropriate to the Panzerwaffe. At the time, Germany was clandestinely developing an armored force in defiance of the Treaty of Versailles. The song could be considered as a reflection of the German re-armament, launched in the same time frame as the song was written.
It has gained fame in the English-speaking world due to its usage in the 1965 film Battle of the Bulge. While throughout that film German characters speak English, the song is sung in the original German.
In 2017, the German army was banned from publishing song books containing Panzerlied and other marching songs by the Minister of Defence Ursula von der Leyen as part of new efforts at denazification. It has been heavily criticized as unnecessary censorship of German military culture.
