Radiance, Texas was promising a little slice of heaven on Earth when I visited the community outside Austin, Texas in 1990. It was a community built on the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi that offered peace, love, & understanding through transcendental meditation along with along with paved streets & manicured lawns in an idyllic subdivision. I'm sure if the founders ever achieved nirvana in Texas, but Radiance is still there as is the meditation dome.
