That's right, I've labeled and timestamped every single theme in this login screen track! If you want to know more about a specific theme, just read the little description underneath its timestamp down there.
Like the other login screen tracks before BfA, this was composed and arranged by Russell Brower. I always love how he included the Stormwind and Orgrimmar themes here since they act as a way to remind the audience that they're still in Azeroth. This expansion is pretty different thematically from the ones that have come before, so that's an important thing to establish in terms of music.
It also makes sense because of the whole emphasis on faction conflict as well, but I guess that's kinda obvious
Also, I love how well the composers were able to adapt to these thematic changes. Neal Acree still composes Asian-inspired soundtracks every now and then and you can definitely still hear a little bit of Pandaria in them. Mists of Pandaria may not have my favorite WoW music ever, but it definitely has some really beautiful ones.
0:00 - WoW Cardon
This is from the first part of the "WoW-Cardon" theme that's a bit more spooky/mysterious. I think that this theme is probably what Sam Cardon used as an audition tape to get accepted into composing for this expansion. If that's true, then I'm glad he got the part.
0:26 - Legends of Azeroth (WoW Main Theme)
This is the main theme of WoW that Jason Hayes composed in vanilla WoW. Pretty much every login screen has referenced this theme in some way.
1:23 - Gecko 3
One of the main themes of the Wandering Isle, and also one of the first themes to be composed for Mists of Pandaria.
2:25 - Vale 2
The filename for this theme refers to it as "Shen-zin Su", but the title in the mp3 metadata says it's called "Vale 2" instead. This is a common problem for older WoW themes, where the filename is different from the title in the metadata. Most of the time, I like to go with the title instead.
3:28 - Stormwind
This is the theme for Stormwind that Jason Hayes composed in vanilla WoW.
4:18 - Orgrimmar
And this is the theme for Orgrimmar that Jason Hayes composed in vanilla WoW. Not as lengthy as the Stormwind one for some reason...
4:33 - Hozu 1
This is the first part of the Hozu theme that plays in Hozen-related places.
5:14 - Brewery Exterior
This is a theme that mainly plays around Stormstout Brewery.
5:42 - Valley of the Four Winds
The filename for this song is "Balloon Ride" but the title says "Valley of the Four Winds". But in reality, this track doesn't seem to play in either of those places, and instead plays in the Wandering Isle.
6:13 - Serpent Riders
The main theme for the Order of the Cloud Serpent where the serpent races take place.
6:33 - Ginsu Valor
Okay... so I may have made a mistake here. This is actually a part of the Ginsu Valor/Shado-pan theme and I couldn't really recognize it as much as the later part. So because of that, this part is actually originally composed by Sam Cardon.
7:26 - Ginsu Valor
This theme mainly plays around Shado-pan related places and the third part is notably used as the intro song for Kun-lai Summit.
7:42 - Gecko 3
A nice conclusion with that chime from the Gecko 3 theme.
