"Circle of Time" is a narrative-driven musical experience composed by Weifan Chang, which is about a woman who is trapped in a limbo of sorts. She ends up in the middle of an endless desert and struggles to find her way back to reality.
"The End" is the final song in this album, and also happens to be my absolute favorite song in the album. I have a huge soft spot for string instruments, so the second half of the song with all the strings is especially effective for me.
I was first introduced to Weifan Chang's work through his incredible soundtrack for Detention, a horror game from 2017. If you like what you hear in this video, I definitely recommend checking that one out. I especially love the second ending theme, "Left Alone", which features a beautiful combination of piano and violin.
