Did you know that hearing privilege can be weaponized into domestic violence in Deaf-hearing relationships? Although this is an all too common type of abuse in Deaf-hearing relationships involving domestic violence, it is often overlooked or minimized.
To recognize Domestic Violence Awareness month, we are sharing this video that includes examples of how abusive hearing partners may take advantage of their hearing privilege to hurt their Deaf partners.
Thank you, Amanda, for bringing attention to this issue.

![The ADHD Trick Nobody Told You About
If you have ADHD, body doubling is a simple yet very effective technique to use to counter ADHD distraction and disorganization.
Having another person nearby helps to keep you grounded, serves as a model of calmness and focus, and offers positive energy. The body double only needs to be there in the same room, and doesn’t need to be involved with what you are working on, unless you specifically asked for help.
Have you tried body doubling?

[visual ID: Reel in which a white woman acts distracted while trying to work in a messy environment, asks someone to be a body double, and finally focuses on her work; Sharon summarizes body doubling at the end]
