"Hear Thyself: Audio and Music for Know Thyself as a Virtual Reality" is a piece designed to allow users to look, listen, explore, and even manipulate the personal data of individuals, including participating artist Marilene Oliver, through images such as MRI and PET scans. From these manipulations, Sound Studies Institute Director Dr. Scott Smallwood creates a tapestry of sounds as a reaction to the inner machinations of a person.
Dr. Smallwood joined Tony King on Thoroughfare to reveal what’s going on in the lab!
