Amb. Belotsercovsky has been Israel’s ambassador to the People's Republic of China since June 2025, after servng more than 30 years in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs in various roles. He also serves as non-resident ambassador to Mongolia.

Eli Belotserkovsky is a former Israeli ambassador to South Africa and Ukraine, non-resident Ambassador to Moldova and to Armenia, and Director of Economic Relations with India and China. He also was Deputy Chief of Mission at the Israeli Embassy in India, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Israeli Embassy in Cyprus and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Israeli Embassy in Singapore. He also served as chargé d’affaires at the Israeli Embassy in Russia.
