Used to be, companies had their flagship Bluetooth ANC headphones, and that was it. But now stratification is the name of the game, with budget and premium options sandwiching the mid-tier, like the new Sennheiser Momentum 5. So is the mid-tier getting squeezed out? Or is it actually where price, features, and quality reach the best balance? This is my review of the Sennheiser Momentum 5.
P.S. The Momentum 5 got a firmware update after review that introduces "head-tracking with Dolby Atmos." It's not a feature I would use, but if you want it, you can update the headphone via the Smart Control Plus app.

From what I can surmise from testing and measurements, the 8 EQ sliders in the Momentum 5 app work out to these shape, frequency, and Q values.
Filter 1: Low shelf 80 Hz Q 0.7
Filter 2: Peak 120 Hz Q 0.8
Filter 3: Peak 250 Hz Q 0.8
Filter 4: Peak 620 Hz Q 0.8
Filter 5: Peak 1400 Hz Q 1.0
Filter 6: Peak 3000 Hz Q 1.0
Filter 7: Peak 7000 Hz Q 1.0
Filter 8: High shelf 11000 Hz Q 0.7
