The Hisenior Mega5-EST is still arguably the best of the many tilted-DF-tuned IEMs we've gotten over the past 18 months. But it's not perfect, and I argued while its tonal balance is excellent, its technical chops are... just so-so. Enter: The NiceHCK Rockies, a new IEM with a familiar set of drivers and a familiar frequency response... and at least a half ounce more tech. But does that make it better? Only one way to find out.
