I don't know why, but the audio is a bit bad and the video has some weird pixel calculation. But somehow it is still HD. I'll try to fix that in the next videos !
Previously, this star was done in 1 B Press by doing a longjump when the carpet was almost in the house. After looking at all that, I've noticed that we still had a bit of time to get onto the carpet, so I was wondering if there was a method to do that star in 0x, even with a slower strat.
Even if Fly Guy manipulation is really long and annoying (turning camera and doing stuff), it can result in an epic strat. After all the fly guy manipulation (which I was able to do in 0 B Press), when the fly guy goes far towards the house (by manipulating his move length), I can just make him stand still by having him off camera.
NOTE : Even if there is a wall between me and the fly guy, and that you don't see the fly guy on the screen, he'll still move.
After that, I teleport to the wind area which is the only way to get back onto the carpet in 0 B Press. When entering the house, you cannot manipulate the camera with the L buttons nor the touchscreen, so what I did is pressing X to turn into 1st pers. view mode, to get him off camera all the way until I leave the house. Luckily there is nowhere I need to pass over something into the house.
After getting almost to the manor, I load Y run, and turn the camera at a very precise moment : the moment that will make me bounce off the fly guy when I dive at the very last moment.
From here I need to be really fast, so I thought about going against the wall to make me fall instead of spinning, which makes me win a lot of time. I needed much optimization to be fast, so here comes the TAS part :p
I use touchscreen to turn as fast as possible after stepping on the switch. Dives and slideklicks did the work. I still had Y run after the ledgegrab, which is very nice. A simple dive and recover made me get back up onto the carpet ! And the switch star timer in this course doesn't end really fast, so I had the time to take it without worrying.
Strangely, this trick was not that hard to do, it's only annoying to do the fly guy trip, but it is not that hard to make him go on the good place. In before, I cheated the fly guy position to see what would be the best. The best thing would have been to make the fly guy go UNDER the switch platform, which is actually possible, but he would be still too high and far to let me able to bounce off him. Making him go towards the house needed him higher than the switch platform. Anyway, I still did it !

At first, the 1 star door was intended to be a normal door, not a loading zone. So the developers had inclued in the 1st floor a little room that is the same as in SM64 and that has 3 Peach paintings where 1 of them is PSS. Though, since they removed the room load trigger, this room will never appear in the 1st floor. But they forgot to remove the loading zone of PSS ! So you can access to PSS by going out of bounds and reaching the loading zone. Plus, it makes you spawn in the slide instantly, and you are slightly displaced from the middle.

30 star door skip is now possible as Luigi.
Luigi has a green rabbit in the basement pillars room.
As far as everyone knew, clipping the wall to be Out Of Bounds with this rabbit wasnt possible. By doing a frame-perfect dive, I was able to grab the rabbit and bring him close enough to the wall to do the rabbit clip. Now that I was past the wall, the water level wasnt high enough to get to the 30 star room. So what I did is I ran to the edge of the slope, stopped almost at the middle of it, and then turned and did a backflip. From here I manipulated Luigi to still be Out Of Bounds, and landed at the edge of the upper ground. From here I just did a backflip again to get to the 30 star room.
By doing this, we can save more than 50 seconds. Even if we will need to redo 30 star door skip as Yoshi, and probably making us losing time, it wont be enough to make the run slower than opening the 30 star door with Mario.
This little TAS I did isnt optimized at all btw, that was just to show people it is possible.

By having a perfectly straight angle you can climb up the slide by not pressing any direction (also works if you press UP). I find this really weird, and maybe by having a frame-by-frame play we could climb up the whole slide, but it would be very difficult.

En ayant un angle parfaitement droit vous pouvez monter la glissade sans appuyer sur aucune direction (marche aussi si vous appuyez sur HAUT). Je trouve ça très bizarre, et peut-être quavec un jeu frame par frame on pourrait monter toute la glissade, mais ça serait très dur.

This TAS is an improvement of 34 frames over the previous TAS !
First, at the beginning, I got the best angle and used the crouch Y run keep trick which made me able to keep 4 units of Y run at the end.
Explanation of the crouch keep trick : If you are on a place where you want to slidekick or longjump, but you dont want to do it as soon as loading the Y run, you can crouch with R before longjumping for 16 frames, and it will keep your current speed and will not use the Y run units you have.
So I had 24/30 units when longjumping (remember, Y run is only being used when walking/running). If I hadnt done the crouch keep Y run trick, I would have got 16/30 units of Y run when longjumping, which wouldnt have made me able to keep some of it at the end.
Doing slidekicks and recovers were a bit faster than doing the Frame Sliding trick since I hadnt much speed after turning. Plus, the Frame Sliding makes you use 1 Y run unit every 2 frames, which is bad. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqLPOwfAkes)
Its not really apparent here, but I used a too little the Frame Sliding trick after the 1st compilation of slidekicks, it was to keep a little of speed to do a quick jump kick making me able to slidekick recover earlier.
I thought of improving the next part by doing a triple jump and wallkicking on the right side wall, but the left side wall has some weird physics that wont allow you to wallkick if you hadnt came on it with a high speed enough. So i redid the exact same strategy as before
The part at the triple jump was improved : I realised that it takes the same time to do a fast low-jump than waiting for the speed to be 0 and doing a low-jump. So i could just land as soon as possible, and triple jump. Remember that i need to reset my direction to triple jump at the good angle, so i need my speed to be 0 before the end of the double jump to redirect.
The ending was improved by a lot, by following the jump of a double jump, making me win a lot of vertical position faster. Unfortunately, a kick during the double jump doesnt make it to the platform, so I had to jump on the slope. While I jumped, I had 4 Y run units, which made me able to simply run and kick (i kicked right after spending all the remaining Y run units lol) to get the star.

BCCless stands for Block/Cannon/Coin-less, which is a challenge where you cant use flower powers or the wings, cant use any cannon, and cant collect any coin. I actually just realized while writing this that I collected a coin in the video, lol. Its obviously 100% possible to avoid it though, by going in the middle of the ring for example.
Yep, this is real. This glitch was discovered by Really_Tall a few weeks ago, and he decided to name it Quantum Tunelling. Basically, there are many areas in SM64DS where the seams of floor triangles don’t exactly line up, which creates a tiny gap that you can clip through if you have just the right X, Y, and Z coordinates and have the exact required vertical velocity.
The Y coordinate is by far the most precise one needed, since its a range of only 64 units (the horizontal speed after you start walking for 1 frame is 4096). For now, there are no viable setups to recreate this glitch in real time, so this video is a TAS (tool-assisted speedrun), but even with tools this glitch is pretty hard to do.
Due to the numerous strategies that can be done with that new glitch discovered, we decided to ban its use in the 150 star TAS, as it would completely change the route (meaning we would have to spend months on testing different new routes, along with redoing the full-game TAS from scratch) and we think its too game-breaking and not as entertaining as the current strategies that dont use this glitch.")

I collect the star A-maze-ing Emergency Exit in Hazy Maze Cave in 0.5x B Presses. The B Press is to perform a high bounce off the scuttlebug which allows me to flutter to the star.
The first thing you might be doubting about after watching the video is why do i jump high and flutter off scuttlebugs ? Would not that be a full B Press ? Well it is not, and thats the whole point of transporting a scuttlebug here. On the versions 1.1 and PAL of the game, when you bounce on an ennemy you will automatically cancel your previous animation and youll be in a jump state, without having to press B. If you held B before bouncing, you will be able to do a high jump and flutter until it goes out. Note that i could also have hung the grate after bouncing off the scuttlebug and make it all the way to the star.
You cannot simply lick a scuttlebug and go through a door with it. The game will automatically make you swallow it because otherwise you would have an unloaded object into your mouth since the objects are always specific to the room they belong to.
So here is the detailed explanation of what I do in this video :
First, I go into the huge room with the red coins, and spit out a scuttlebug next to the wall. Then I perform a glitch that requires the black brick and that allows me to go out of bounds, and I carefully land on the seam with a slidekick. Then I bring the scuttlebug all the way to an invisible room. Why is it invisible, and why am I in the dark ? Well, thats because to save space in the memory and prevent lag, the developers made a room loading system so that only the room where you are in is loaded. But if you go to another room without going through a door, the room will stay unloaded, which means that there are only floors, walls and doors. There is not any object loaded when a room is unloaded. That takes in account the elevators.
So when I fall into a dark room (which is the room the developers want you to go through to take the star, with an elevator inside), Im able to do 2 things at the same time : I release the scuttlebug, but I also perform the Permanently Loaded Room Glitch : if you exit a room that was unloaded, it will load and stay loaded until you enter it and exit it again. That means I can safely go back to the red coins room, and the elevator room will still be loaded if I open an unrelated door.
But thats not the only room I need to keep loaded. I also need the Rolling Rocks room to stay loaded, or otherwise I cant take the star since it would be unloaded as its an object that belongs to that room. Remember that if I simply spat out the scuttlebug into the Rolling Rocks room and opened the door to load that room, the red coins room would unload, which means that the scuttlebug would unload too. So I take the Mario cap since its a lot easier to do seam walking with him. I perform the same glitch for the Rolling Rocks rooms, so that it stays loaded too.
For the last step I need to be as Yoshi, since its near impossible to lose a cap and stay on a seam. I make it all the way to the elevator room, but I need to make sure to land on the seam. That part was very difficult because landing on a seam is not as easy as you might think. First, even seam walking itself is extremely precise. But when you are falling fast, you will not be able to land half between a floor triangle and its edge. Luckily, I figured out that corners have a larger seam area where you can be fully over a floor triangle. After landing into the corner, I go to see the scuttlebug because I want to get up with him. I could have released it less far but I hadnt expected that I would have to ride the elevator anyway from the seam.
I wait for the elevator to come back down, and I get up with the scuttlebug. When Im at the highest point, I run onto the seam and go into the Rolling Rocks room without going through the door, which means that the red coin room (therefore the scuttlebug too) stays loaded. From there I simply spit out the scuttlebug near the edge, I do a slidekick recover and bounce on him, and since I had B held I can get the star by fluttering.
Side note : I have not found yet a way to collect this star in 0.5x B Presses on the version 1.0 of the game, since in that version the bounces doesnt change the state youre in, and a recover cannot make it to either the grate or the platform with a star. I will experiment and see what method could be used for 1.0 but at least its nice that it works on 1.1/PAL. At the time this is the hardest BBC strategy.

This is the first version of the 100 coin star of Wet-Dry World. Ive now decided to record the first version of a star that I judge difficult to path out and upload it on YouTube in order to ameliorate it thanks to suggestions. I cannot take the 5 coins at the top of the downtown, because I previously glitched to walk underwater, and those coins are at the surface at the water. Thats also the reason I needed to kill the skeeter at the beginning and not miss any coin from the blocks. So please tell me what you think of the star. I accept all suggestions !

In this video, I collect the star Navigating the Toxic Maze in Hazy Maze Cave in 0x B Presses.
Previously, this star was already possible in 0x B Presses but it was needed to use Luigi and his flower power, or else the star could only be done in 1x B Press if any other character was used. Now, this video proves that this star is doable in 0x B Presses as ANY character (even Wario and Yoshi).
Side note : The reason why I took Mario is just because he is the fastest in the game, and also because its faster to get into the rolling rocks room with him, as his power flower can let him enter that room a lot faster by going over the gap.
So here is the detailed explanation of what I do in this video :
First, I take the flower power and go to the rolling rocks room. From there, I perform a glitch that requires the black brick and that allows me to go out of bounds, and I carefully land on the seam. I move on the seam for several seconds to then open the door from the room with the star to enter the rolling rocks room again. Why is that important ? Well, thats because to save space in the memory and prevent lag, the developers made a room loading system so that only the room where you are in is loaded. But if you go to another room without going through a door, the room will stay unloaded, which means that there are only floors, walls and doors. There is not any object loaded when a room is unloaded, and this includes stars.
So when I go into the room with the star, I perform the Permanently Loaded Room Glitch : if you exit a room that was unloaded, it will load and stay loaded until you enter it and exit it again. That means I can safely stay in the rolling rocks room, and the room with the star will still be loaded, therefore the star too.
For the last step, I come back to the black brick and do the same glitch to get out of bounds again. Then, I make my way to the star since I can bypass the grate that normally prevents me from getting the star.
