Here's a bit of Home Box Office from 1985, a preview of what was coming for the month of November, and then the first three-and-a-half minutes of an HBO Behind the Scenes about the making of the first "Dune." The thumbnail shows author Frank Herbert with director David Lynch. Herbert would die less than four months after this airing, February 1986. Lynch died early this year, January 2025. The recording cuts off as Kenneth McMillan is being made up as Baron Harkonnen. Hard to believe McMillan died in January 1989 at age 56...
