Hayden Panettiere was found dead inside a South Carolina apartment by an acquaintance, according to police reports. The actress was pronounced dead on August 16 after emergency crews responded to a report of an unresponsive female. Panettiere was discovered in an apartment complex located in Greenville, South Carolina, shortly after 1 p.m. The call regarding the situation came in at approximately 1:15 p.m., describing a person in cardiac arrest. Paramedics reportedly utilized advanced cardiac life support efforts in an attempt to revive the actress. Despite their best efforts, Panettiere was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m., less than two hours later.
