Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is an incredible and beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Hawaii, USA. The national park covers Mauna Loa and Kilauea, the two most important volcanoes on the Big Island. Mauna Loa is considered the world's largest mountain, when measured from base to summit, while Kilauea is the world's most active volcano. Both volcanoes are a fantastic example of island-building, where you can see first-hand the processes that have formed - and continue to form - both the Hawaiian islands, and the earth itself.
