The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia UNESCO World Heritage site covers a series of 51 national parks and nature reserves in eastern Australia. The 300,000+ hectares of this World Heritage Site includes most of Australia's remaining rainforest. And there's all sorts of rainforest here: subtropical, alpine, littoral, temperate, and more. It's just such a beautiful environment with a variety of trees, shrubs, vines, mosses, and waterfalls, plus of course some iconically Australian animals. For our visit we headed to several different areas, including Oxley-Wild Rivers National Park, Dorrigo National Park, New England National Park, Nightcap National Park, and Iluka Nature Reserve.
