Ever since we came to the Big Island, Chris has been dying to go to a Black Sand Beach.
Island weather can be so unpredictable and it kept raining every weekend we were planning to go. But finally… Perfect weather!
We weren’t too sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw Sea Turtles there! Apparently Punalu’U Beach is known for having Sea Turtles! We hung out with them for a while and explored the surrounding area (unfortunately we didn’t swim), and it was a really stunning place.
Also, we found THE BEST place to eat authentic Hawaiian Food… You won’t want to miss it!

After getting married, we realized that owning a big house and working at a big company wasn't our definition of success and it certainly wasn’t making us happy.
We realized that we are our happiest when we’re traveling and learning about different cultures, so we decided to follow that passion and go on an adventure around the world.
