We head for Hilo and the Big Island, and take a tour of a cave in Volcanoes National Park. Our guides were Eric and Judy from "Friends of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park". Of course, it's kinda dark in there, but we have lights.

Then we headed down to the end of Chain of Craters Road just to see what's changed. To our surprise (and Cyndi's disappointment), a LOT had changed. Some day I'll pull up video of previous walks there and compare. (Yeah, I'll probably never do that, but we remember...).
43:22 Finally, a quick stop at the Jagger viewing area after dark for a look at the active lava at Halema’uma’u. You'll see a lot of red glow and smoke, but only a few splashes of lava rise above the edge of the little mini-crater. It's still pretty cool. Or hot.
