When you’ve spent years finding your voice, learning to communicate, healing old wounds, and becoming fully yourself… not everyone knows what to do with that.
One of the things I’ve learned over the last year is that being a strong woman requires a very secure man. 🩷
And I don’t mean secure in his finances, his career, or his accomplishments.
I mean secure in HIMSELF.
I’ve often worried that my directness, my passion, my intensity, or the way I communicate might feel “too much.”
Too loud.
Too strong.
Too opinionated.
Too… Heidi. 😅
But one of the greatest gifts Ryan has given me is the experience of being fully myself and never once being made to feel like I need to shrink.
Never once.
Instead, he listens.
He stays curious.
He communicates.
And he loves all of me… fire included. 🔥❤️🔥
I think healthy relationships do that.
They don’t ask us to become less.
They create a safe enough space for us to become more.
This week’s episode of Heidi’s Lane is one of the most vulnerable conversations we’ve ever shared. We talk about couples therapy, old patterns, communication, people-pleasing, and what it looks like to intentionally build a healthier relationship.
