Saying YES for the WRONG reasons.

A lot of the really big things I’ve done in my life came from a place of trauma, people pleasing, and feeling like I wasn’t enough if I didn’t.

That’s hard to admit because I said yes to things I probably shouldn’t have.

But also... some of the BEST things in my life came from that same version of me.

Which is WILD.

Because how do you regret something... that also gave you so much?

I can’t hate that version of me.

She was doing the best she could with what she knew and she build a beautiful life.

But I will say... I’m in a different place now. Where sometimes I swing the other way and want to say no to everything. 😅

Protect my peace.
Stay in my lane.
Keep things small and safe.

And I have to catch myself and be like okay wait... I still want to play.

I still want to say YES to the RIGHT things. Just not from fear, needing approval, or from trying to prove anything.

But from a place of alingment. 🩷
