Some of Laguna’s most meaningful dishes are not found in restaurants or served during grand celebrations. They are prepared in family kitchens, passed down through generations, and shared around everyday tables.
In this episode of Lutong Bahay, we explore three dishes that reflect different sides of Laguna’s culinary heritage: Kulawong Talong from San Pablo, Bibingkang Hipon from Paete, and Kinulob na Itik from Victoria. Each dish tells a story of resourcefulness, local ingredients, and traditions that continue to survive through the people who choose to keep making them.
