Gov. Sarah Palin illogically surmised that Sen. Barack Obama sought to starve our troops and take away their guns, ammo and armored vehicles while they were fighting terrorists. The audience at a Pennsylvania political rally loved the red-meat and apparently the media gave the hate speech a free pass. The hypocrisy is stunning given that Sen. John McCain voted to halt funds for the troops in a similar manner, but the McCain campaign seems to never let facts get in the way of rhetorical slander. Granted, Im just a part-time observer, but it seems clear that Palin can spew hate and falsehoods as effortlessly as rain falls from the sky, and at a level that is not the typical public fare for a national campaign.
And if you think Palins speech is not rooted in hate, note that twice she called the opposition party by the wrong name there is no such thing as the Democrat Party its the Democratic Party. What does it say about a campaign that cannot look their opponent in the eye, which refers to Obama as that one, and consistently calls his party by the wrong name? If McCain and Palin were to actually win the election, the aisle they would have to reach across is now wider than the Grand Canyon.

![Diva Palin, Donald Trump, McCain and Obama
[Satire] Donald Trump touts the credentials of Gov. Sarah Palin to ascend to the presidency but its a mixed bag. McCain and Obama both benefit because Trump sidesteps her inexperience and many scandals: Troopergate, shopping spree and makeup consultant excesses, kids traveling at Alaska taxpayer expense, Wasilla left in debt, bridge to nowhere, plane sold on eBay, witch-hunter minister, and more.
