Capitol Hill, Washington (3/20/10) - GOP has tried all year to disavow direct links to violent acts targeting Democrats as well as raucous Tea Party extremists and racist actions prevalent at many Tea Party rallies, but a video of Texas Representative Michael McCaul (R-TX) captures his instructions to Tea Party members to continue bullying tactics. The Austin Republican is seen actively inciting Tea Party protesters outside the Capitol on Saturday to continue to intimidate Democrats while the health care reform debate rages on inside the House chamber.

Clearly a Republican strategy has been to solicit Tea Party support but keep a comfortable distance from any responsibility of related violence for example, speak at rallies but ignore the many racist signs present. Rep. McCauls command to the troops makes a direct link clearer. McCauls direct instructions tie Republicans more closely with the violent aftermath.
