Figure Note:
Stop-Motion Transformation of Hasbro Dark of the Moon Leader Ironhide. Simple transformation with lots of play features. So you have guns that pop out of the arms in both robot AND vehicle mode. The faceplate can be lowered by pushing the top of the chest OR pushing a lever behind the head and activates lights and sounds. There is a big gatling gun that pops out of the chest, with activation levers both on the bottom of the chest or a lever you can depress behind his head. (Couldn’t show this because it has a firm spring return mechanism) and compartments in his calves - one with a gun (with launcher) and the other with a big bowie knife. But yeah, the transformation is REAL simple on this guy. Unique Toys Skids actually arrives today but obviously not in time for today, so that will be next weekend. Followed by MMC’s Groove the following weekend.

Production Note: No head turn because ... the head literally does not turn. Because of the faceplate mechanism the head is fixed in place. The sequence was 420 pictures. Huhuhuhuh. This might just be the shortest sequence ever. Only just NOW realized I was using "Revenge of the Fallen" instead of the correct "Dark of the Moon" So the title for the video is a bit ... wrong. Fixed it for the description though, so yay me.

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
