Stop-Motion Transformation of ToysEasy Super Alloy Warship God. What an amazing set. I made the decision to leave out the little frigate that doesn’t form any part of the combiner. Sorry if he’s some big important part of the team. The “gun” he turns into wasn’t worth the trouble either with how much it would unbalance the combiner.

Production Note: 1238 photos (just for this latest whole-team turnarounds and combination sequence) That block you see in his foot was to help stabilize him. He stands just fine to pose on a shelf, but my turntable is ever so slightly not level, so a tall figure like this is going to tend to lean a bit as he rotates and the ankles on this aren’t rigid enough to handle those forces. Even so, I would hear little creaks as I rotated that would let me know to tweak him a bit fore and aft to make sure he stayed upright. This all led to me avoiding any animation in the turn because I would rather have the turn be clean and him falling over because I’m moving parts would definitely mar that. I have managed to lose one of the aircraft carrier’s rudders, so that’s sad. Also the initial figure, the 055, came missing a propeller and I got it replaced and then promptly misplaced the replacement. So I took the other one off too for the ship rotation so he would be level.
