It is finally time for one of the biggest and most anticipated Harry Potter Speedrunning Community events to return: The Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (PC) Bingo Tournament 2025! And for the first time since the tournament was created all the way back in 2020 we had so many participants that we actually needed a "Day 0" to settle on who ends up qualifying for the main tournament in the end! Those can be seen as a sort of "Play-off" between the three people that have scored the lowest throughout the offline Seeding matches, in this case those were Chipsikov (Seed 20); U_0001 (Seed 21) ann Nediaoken (Seed 22).

Unfortunately U_0001 had PC issues coming up during the day of the Play-offs which made it pretty much impossible for him to play in them leaving the decision on who makes it into the tourney solely between Chipsikov and Nediaoken. So those 2 now face off in an epic Best of 3 to determine who makes it into the big Bingo Tourney in the end and who will unfortunately already be eliminated!

And it was a very fun match to watch, I can tell you that much already! Both players were certainly able to show off their Bingo skills and showcase their game knowledge and just overall what they are capable of in this Best of 3. I personally think it's the perfect kind of appetizer that definitely makes us want more Bingo and makes us look forward to a lot more close and intense matches to come during the main Groupstage of the Tournament...

And then afterwards it was finally time for the long awaited Group Stage Draw! This is where some people's fates may already be determined, some may face a group that seems easy at first but might proove tricky regardless. Because one thing I can tell you, the level of play has increased all around the board this year and there are absolutely no easy matches or groups anymore!

I hope everyone is going to enjoy this draw though, I tried my absolute hardest to make it as professional and high quality as possible so we can feel like doing some actual E-sports for a change. Considering Harry Potter games are not always accepted at bigger speedrunning events it is nice to have our own kind of event and bubble to enjoy some exciting tournament matches in. So thank you so much for watching and for continously enjoying those tournaments, I will certainly keep them coming because of that!
