Here's the thing: I am aware that this is not a good game. There is no universe in which this is a good game. I'm pretty sure there isn't even a universe where it's a mediocre game. But yet, when we got the Wheels of Fire compilation, which contianed Powerdrift, Turbo Outrun, Chase HQ, and this, my brother and I actually played a surprising amount of this, and didn't deeply hate it - I mean, even back then we knew the game had severe problems, but... we actually got a lot of enjoyment out of it.
Yes, the controls are weird, but they're no more weird than something like test drive. We'd played a lot of test drive back then, too. But here's the thing: Despite my slippery driving, here in 2021, I still had fun with this!
So, you will probably hate this game and this conversion. But I don't!
