Description: If you use this four wire system you'll want to watch this video so your welder will turn on. Problem is if you have a GFCI Breaker in the panel for the welder outlet you have to disconnect the white Return wire inside the welder or the GFCI reads it as an open because it's not actually hooked up to the transformer in this type of unit. Once you isolate the white/return from ground cap it or tape it up, then zip tie it to the wire bundle so that it won't be loose floating around in your box. The welder should power and run just fine after that.
