The Mobula7 has been a very popular micro and the Mobula7HD was highly anticipated.
Unfortunately it came with many reliability concerns, especially when using 3S batteries. Concerns that were partially "fixed" by 9000KV motors and a capacitor on the XT30. Happymodel allowed Mobula7HD owners to buy the upgraded parts at a low price, which I did too. I appreciate the support but a BNF means Bind-and-Fly, not fly, fail, wait for new parts and upgrade it yourself. It should have been good right out of the box...

Newer Mobulas come with the new parts but the culprit is still the Crazybee V2 board. Reduced range on D16 of the FrSky version is also another problem (I used D8).

For 10000KV better use 2S. For 9000KV be cautious, especially with turtle mode.
Choosing an efficient prop also helps, so check my thrust tests below.
