It looks like Caddx is working constantly on refreshing their FPV camera lineup, this time with the new versions of their Micro SDR2: "Plus Freestyle" and "Plus Racing".
In this video I am comparing the Micro SDR2 Plus Freestyle with the new ~1.6mm "Turbo Eye" lens, to the original Micro SDR2, as well as to the Predator Micro V2 from Foxeer and the Micro Eagle from Runcam.
I used the same (almost stock) settings on both SDR2 cameras and the image is sharper on the Plus version. Colors look pretty much the same but the biggest improvement is the new lens!
It has a slightly wider FOV, it is definitely sharp, it produces less pronounced lens flaring and more importantly: it gets rid of the weird issue the 2.1mm lens on the Micro SDR1 and Micro SDR2 has, on the top left and top right corners of the image (more on that in my previous Micro SDR2 video).
Note: It looks like the lens on the Micro SDR2 is a bit smudged on its left side but I checked it before and after the comparison, it was clean. Looking at older footage, the Micro SDR2 was equally sharp on both sides.
