Meet Hyrum Bingham from Jeffersonville, Indiana, and his wild ’30s Ford Roadster—302-powered, 5-speed, and built with pure creativity. After braving last year’s monsoon on bad tires, he’s back with real traction and plenty of upgrades.
This Roadster started as a way to showcase his custom upholstery business, but it’s evol-ved into a one-of-a-kind steampunk-influenced machine: copper plumbing for exhaust and fuel lines, a Deval-style windshield with aviation turnbuckles, hand-cut louvers, Italian lea-ther, modified Kirkey seats, and even Indy-style rear suspension with four calipers out back. Aluminum body, copper rivets, and nothing added unless it works.
