Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!
And say hello to my new cockatiel Hamilton!
If you follow me on tumblr, you'll know that I've wanted a bird for pretty much a year, but had to wait until I could move into my own place. Last week, at the 15th of May, I officially moved into my new home and today, May 25th, my cockatiel joined me!
He's a male cockatiel, and I've named him Hamilton after the musical. My personal tribute and nod to one of my absolute favorite musicals of all time by one of my favorite creators of... well, anything really. Lin Manuel Miranda, you are my idol, I adore you and so I thought I'd name my sweet little baby after one of your greatest masterpieces. Which I hope I someday get to experience personally Cx
Now to all of you out there who knows about birds: Don't worry! Like I've said in the video, I know Hamilton's cage isn't ideal right now. That'll be fixed tomorrow! I am a little unsure how much foraging he needs and whether it should be at the bottom of his cage though... so if anyone could tell me that, that'd be great x'D
This video is also a little teaser/reminder of my vlog channel where you'll definitely get to see A LOT MORE of Hamilton! And me of course, but you'll just have to deal with that :P There's nothing on the channel yet, and I'll do a more proper "here's my vlog channel" video once it's more up and running, but I wanted to throw the link on here just in case anyone wants to get a headstart on ALL THAT ACTION! xD
