Hey guys whats up?! Mr. Blonde here today with the review of B2T Charley's first Matchmaking Jumptage! Before I begin I would just like say..... HAPPY 4TH OF JULY NIGGAS!
Gameplay: So this isn't your average montage obviously, instead we are given a series of neat trick jumps in matchmaking that lead to assassinations. I was more impressed at the actual jumps themselves then the kills but its nice to see Charley utilizing the jumps into his gameplay. I did think the last clip was pretty pointless, as there wasn't really a jump and the kill was pretty average, and to end the montage with that clip rather than one of the better ones was a bit disappointing to me. But I did enjoy the jumps that were presented earlier and they were on a wide variety of maps which kept me interested.
7/10 Hard to rate jumps, but this is the best I can give.
Editing: Where this montage fell a little flat to me was in the editing department. To me the editing felt very lazy, and had it been done better or done with more effort, it could have made this video much more enjoyable. There were nothing but cuts as transitions through out the entire montage and I felt had there at least even been cross fades it could have added to the experience, but instead all the transitions felt lazy and awkward. But the biggest problem I had with this tage was the fact that there were no angles... at all. My favorite thing about jump montages and trick montages aren't the clips themselves all the time, but rather the cinematic experience that editors can bring to the jumps. Halo looks the best when its seen in a jump montage, and I would have like to have seen more of that here. Hopefully in any future jump tages Charley does there will be a better effort in the editing department since these clips are really awesome and could be edited to look so much better. Crossing my fingers for a sick as fuck Jumptage 2 :)
