Before the review I have to say something as I know someone is going to bring it up. Yes, this was released only a few hours ago, but Newcomer and I had a prearranged agreement that when the edit was complete I would upload it on July 18th. I do accept some submissions before they are complete because I know the certain people will come through with quality content every time.
Waddup guys Mr. Blonde here and...... Its fucking Friday niggers! Speaking of niggers, NEWCOMER IS FUCKING BACK! Today I present to you guys the sequel to the hit H4 edit "Born Dead" only this time it's H3 and is also an entry for the Novus Editing Comp. Ever since I saw my first Newcomer edit I was instantly a huge fan. His control and intensity shocked me, and his creativity was flying off the charts. This edit is no different! Picking up right where Born Dead left off, we are instantly catapulted into a chaotic song with a dazzling 3D intro. My favorite part of Newcomer's edits are his use of the 3D spartans that he consistently uses. Some people find the spartans to be really chessy 3D work, but I see them as a gag to add some dark humor into the mix of the action, and their cartoony look snaps us back into reality that we are in fact watching a Halo edit. Most editors I see edit Halo to this extent usually always butcher the gameplay, but Newcomer has a way of keeping us aware of the clip even with all the effects and easter eggs everywhere. It is my honest opinion that no one will be able to top this edit in the competition, and that we have a clear cut winner here. Good luck to the rest of the editors competing. You're gonna need it.
10/10 Yes I'm sucking his dick big time, but I do in fact feel comfortable handing out this 10, it is an incredible edit like the first, and keeps me wanting more Newcomer.
