Halloween Sale - Trick or Treat Fun At The Spooky Swap Meet I have been collecting Halloween décor and vintage decorations for many years now and it's finally taking up too much space. If you've seen my other collection videos you know there's a lot of stuff. So my options are rent a bigger house (lol!) or share my collection with other Halloween lovers. Thankfully the team over at Midsummer Scream announced that they were putting on a Halloween themed swap meet and looking for vendors. I was overjoyed to be apart of this event and had a lot of fun vending.
To get ready for the sale I went through each Halloween tub, box and shelf. There were a lot of boxes haha! But I was able to downsize and let go of duplicate items or things that I just don't display as often. I was amazed at the amount of stuff I was able to let go, I really love my Halloween things 😄 I had extras of Blow molds, motionettes, Paper Die Cuts, glassware, Halloween Pyrex, plush, costumes, props and buckets.
Now I needed to clean, price and pack up everything for the swap meet. I also needed to get a tent but found a great one on Amazon, link below. It took me about a month to get everything ready. We had a day to set up and the we could vend for one or two days. I was only able to sell on Saturday but heard Sunday went really well for venders too.
The venue was absolutely perfect. It took place in Los Angeles at the historic Heritage Square museum. Each home was decorated by different Haunts and people could also trick or treat. My personal favorite was the first house with vintage blow molds and decorations. Our son really enjoyed the atmosphere as well and came home with a bunch of candy.
I had a blast being apart of this event and hope you enjoy getting to see a glimpse into what is was like vending and attending the Spooky Swap meet.
