Full run through 2 loops of Gyrodine (ジャイロダイン), an arcade shmup developed by Crux and released by Taito.

Gyrodine is another old shmup mostly forgotten to time but supposedly several of the developers of this game went on to work for Toaplan to create Tiger-Heli. Gyrodine plays a bit more like Xevious than it does Tiger-Heli but it's kind of cool to see what is essentially a Toaplan precursor. In this run I made it through the first 2 loops and about 1/2 way through the 3rd before the game over.

A new PB in Gradius V after not playing it for over 10 years! And I reached Loop 6 Stage 7!

In truth while I think the meme stage is kinda funny, I would be lying to say this run wasnt a disaster and disappointing.
I went into loop 5 with 17 lives (way more than Ive ever had before) and died like 20 times and almost threw the run entirely multiple times. The worst was in 5-7 with one of the dumbest most brain dead deaths Ive ever had against the Keepers Core. Managed to salvaged the run and get pretty deep into loop 6 before some more stupid deaths ended the run.
So yes, a new PB, but also a massive missed opportunity.")
