"The Swan" (Le Cygne) is the 13th and penultimate movement of The Carnival of the Animals by Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns. Originally scored for solo cello accompanied by two pianos, it has been arranged and transcribed for many instruments but remains best known as a cello solo.

I decided to record this one on guitar, using the wammy bar to replicate the cello vibrato feel. For the video, I tried to have a little fun by grabbing a guitar out of a TV screen ... thus the need for the weatherman opening sequence.
