You probably don't know this, but the boatyard has several missions. The route and checkpoints are always the same, but weather conditions, the time given and the award are different. No matter how much time you fail, next mission will be available after you pass previous one.
Missions
1st: sunny weather, 2.30 min, $5000
2nd: sunny weather, 2.25 min, $6000
3rd: overcast weather, 2.20 min, $7000
4th: foggy weather, 2.15 min, $8000
5th: stormy weather, 2.10 min, $9000
6th: sunny weather, 2.00 min, $15000
All the next missions are the same as the 6th one.
Unfortunately I didn't find the way to keep the weather constant after the mission. The Checkpoint Charlie can be broken by the PCJ playground, but the weather would change as usual.
