00:00 - Failing "Terminal Velocity" (Race 1) whilst obtaining the FP (Fire Proof) Cheetah
03:00 - Proving the FP Property and showing off the FP Cheetah
This Method will work EXACTLY as shown on PS2, Xbox, PC, Mobile, and Definitive Edition since all of these Platforms/Versions allow the Method shown in the Video.
As long as the Race has been passed at least once, failing it on the second or greater instance will not effect the Stats and you will not get an extra Mission Attempt.
If you'd like, you can obtain the FP Cheetah on the FIRST time through ANY Race. Just be in the lead until the very end of the Race and wait at the finish line without going into the final checkpoint. When you see the FP Cheetah, keep an eye on it and go through the final checkpoint. The Race will pass and the FP Cheetah will be in your sight. Just do a drive-by on it all the same to get the driver out.
Sometimes the driver will NOT leave after doing a drive-by. It's completely random. If that happens, just reload and try again.
Note that the EARLIEST you can obtain the FP Cheetah would be after passing "Shakedown" and buying Sunshine Auto's, however, you can also obtain it as late as after 100% and anywhere in between. It's up to you when you see fit to obtain it at which time.
The Cheetah featured in the Mission has Traffic Default Colors and changes upon reloading the Mission. None of them are special.
Fun Fact - The FP Cheetah is also PP (Pop Proof) and TP (Tip Proof) before storing it in the Garage. These Properties are removed after the Garage closes down on it. The PP and TP Property is only retainable by a Garage in GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories!
