Welcome to my Special Vehicle Guide for GTA IV! This Video will show you how to obtain the EC (Exclusive Color) Red and White Maverick from "Buoys Ahoy" with Mission Failure since it's the only way possible.

It's interchangeable across GTA IV, TLaD, and TBoGT and the same rules apply for each game. This file was heavily used to help find out all the Special Vehicles in the game and determine exactly why they are special.

EC Red and White Maverick:
Light Blue Grey - 24
Very Red - 27
Frost White - 113
Black - 0
Maverick - 113,0,113, 113,7,113, 113,28,113, 113,49,113, 113,57,113, 113,69,113, 113,76,113
***The Method I show in the Video will work for EVERY Platform and Version out there for GTA IV.
Right after you begin the Mission, make sure you exit the Boat and have the RPG at the ready in your Inventory so you can pull it out as quickly as you can later on for when the time comes. Also, don't forget to waste Bernie as soon as you fire the RPG to avoid a Post-Mission Failure Cutscene. If you get this to occur, you won't obtain the EC Maverick and must try again.
This is your BEST CASE SCENARIO shown in the Video! There will be times the RPG shot will miss the Maverick all together resulting in retrying. Other times, it can hit the Maverick, but have it explode and land on the ground as a wreck. If this happens, I still suggest to reload and try again, but you COULD call 911 and request a Fire Truck and then use it to push the wreck into a Parking Space and renew it. There's times you will be shot at by Russians (like shown in this Video) and I suggest not dealing with them. Just head right for the Maverick. Same case if you get a Wanted Level. Sometimes that can happen, as well. If it does, don't even worry. Just quickly head to the Maverick, enter it, and fly away.
You can store 10 Special Vehicles in the 5 Parking Spaces that GTA IV has to offer. Each Parking Space saves 2 Special Vehicles each.
Fun Fact - The Tropic you're driving in this Mission is EC as well as the Russian's Squalo. Both are unobtainable since Boats do not save in Parking Spaces in GTA IV, TLaD, and TBoGT.
