Defeating all five bosses in Grumpy Jack without taking damage and its ending. When Jack accidentally kills the hero of this story Jack has to take their place to keep reality from breaking by slaying the Nightmare King.
This was completed on hard difficulty. There is an extreme difficulty unlocked from beating the game but I am content with what was available on an initial playthrough. The Nightmare King's second phase was a little bit RNG to do hitless with the many bouncing balls lasting into another attack (and depending on positioning you may have unavoidable damage).
I feel this one is weaker compared to Super Roboy but it's an alright game, just much shorter. A lot of the early game difficulty comes from multiple projectiles being shot from starter enemies and the shield to block them doesn't unlock until a bit after the first boss and then healing flasks don't unlock until after the second boss. After that things become noticeably easier although you do get hit for hefty damage on hard (it wasn't too surprising to die in 2-4 hits even with the HP upgrades although consistent healing with enough flasks can make it easy to survive). You can max out damage with the skill tree pretty fast (and is a pretty good idea since there aren't too many must-haves that early) along with a blacksmith further upgrading damage. There's three weapons but the hammer felt underwhelming as due to the bullet hell nature the wand or sword's projectiles provide greater safety (and the final sword upgrade overshadows the hammer completely) so I never really used it except for blocks that are only broken by it.
As I felt it to be alright I'm more on the fence of recommending the game though if you like Zelda-likes you might find this enjoyable.
