A compilation of the various endings (most ending in your death) to the Cloud, one of four visual novels in Chronicles from the Abyss. When it starts raining as part of a robot nanomachine death squad that humanity long lost control of you can follow instructions or toss caution to the wind!
Played this last year and have been meaning to do a compilation for a while. I think replaying Glitch and doing that compilation kind of rekindled my interest in doing so. This is a bit more slow-paced with the auto-read (sadly not configurable) and the lack of music compared to Glitch does make it a bit less engaging at times. There's also a decent number of typos.
To avoid a bit of duplication touching the rain has the same outcomes as going outside as the water tendril will grab you leading to Ending 19 or Ending 4. Checking the street (either initially or after picking illuminate the sky) and choosing to defend yourself automatically has you grab the knife and the same outcomes for the crazed man breaking in through the window. Sitting and using headphones has the same outcomes as lighting a candle and reading a book (and I show the simplest outcome from just ignoring).
Anyhow, these are otherwise four smaller visual novels combined into one compilation which is kind of neat although I don't think any of them are particularly amazing. Not bad checking out if you like the genre though.
