Grocers around the world are unexpectedly finding bricks of cocaine in boxes of bananas delivered to their stores. Let me tell you about it.

When clerks at two grocery stores in a small city in Canada opened their boxes of Del Monte bananas they were stunned to find bricks of cocaine. Meanwhile, 4,500 miles away, nearly a thousand similar bricks were found in a shipment of bananas at a seaport in Britain. The narco world’s gone completely bananas. The Mob Reporter here with news of two cocaine discoveries this week — made in very different ways and in very different places — that tell the same story.
