My 1st greenhouse tour, filmed in 02/02/2021.
90% of fruit is grown from seed from fruit's I have purchased and eaten myself. The rest are purchased from local nurseries and other rare tropical fruit collectors.
Many other varieties planted in my fruit forest, all under 3years old. Will be filming a full garden tour soon.
Greenhouse structure is made from galvanised steel posts, wrapped in chain link fencing wire and then l layered 30% shade cloth for protection from pests yet still allowing lots of sunlight for the seedlings to grow.
I built the structure myself, purchasing everything from local steel fabrication/fencing company. I cut the poles to length to suit my dimensions needed, then bolted all the joints together. I wrapped the whole structure in chain link fencing wire, then attached to poles using wire twisted with pliers.
Shade cloth was then attached by using zip ties (best method according to shade cloth company) I have had no issues with pests getting in, but I think it will be tested once I plant out my veggie patch including tomatoes on the left side of the greenhouse soon.
