Inside Leuven there is the rather small city park (or St. Donatus park) which has different entrance (a nice one from the Tiense straat). Outside and East of Leuven tArenberg Castle is located in what could be called a green zone. Close to the ring around Leuven, also East of the city, on the Philipssite, there is a large playground for children.
