Step back in time with this classic Old Church Recipe – Baked Chicken Salad. 🐓✨ This vintage dish has been a staple at church gatherings, potlucks, and family dinners for generations. It’s creamy, savory, and topped with a golden crunch that makes it unforgettable.
In this video, I’ll show you how to make this comforting casserole-style salad that’s perfect for Sunday suppers or whenever you want a taste of tradition. Simple ingredients, easy steps, and a whole lot of homestyle flavor—just the way grandma used to make it.

Ingredients:
6 chicken-breasts cooked, deboned and cut into 1" pieces
1 can diced pimiento's
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated onion
salt/pepper to taste
1 cup diced celery
1 cup of sliced chestnuts
1 cup shredded cheddar
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted in butter
French Fried Onions
Mix together the chicken, pimiento's, mayonnaise, lemon juice, grated onions, salt/pepper, celery and chestnuts in a medium size bowl till well combined.
Pour into a 9x9 baking dish
Bake uncovered for 20 minutes at 350 degrees before adding cheese and onions.
Then bake for 15 minutes after topping.
